A 30-minute play in which a large cast of children are left to choose their own parts, with chaotic consequences.
The children assemble on the stage and are given neither script nor plot. The parts chosen include a nurse, a shop assistant, a mother, a policeman, a politician and a rich man. The Producer’s instructions are explained but fighting breaks out. The Producer’s son tries to persuade everyone to play a better part. He is killed but returns to give his advice.
